Customer Training Manager APAC

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Manager to join our team, this is a great opportunity to continue the journey we have embarked on with our various methods of training including our new to market E Learning platform You will be responsible for leading delivery of best practice customer training during on boarding of our customers to enable customer success which is of enormous value to all.

The role:

As the manager of our training, you will be responsible for coaching, developing and motivating the team of 6 to exceed team performance targets, administering a high level of customer, employee and new function product training across all teams and train the trainer facilitation. A key component to the successfully deliver of the product training will be the ongoing development and maintenance of our E-Learning platform.

As part of the management team you will be working collaboratively across different areas of the business including Sales, Marketing, Implementations and Support.   You will also be participating in the corporate customer acquisition planning and execution as well as bringing our customers on a change management programme to ensure their success in a competitive market.

Importantly, you will be required to travel as this role involves visiting customers with or field based trainers across Australia and New Zealand to monitor training standards and to attend various training meetings with our existing and new corporate customers.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 5 years proven leadership/management experience within a training environment,
  • At least 3 years proven experience leading a remotely based team,
  • A training/management qualification and experience with SME customer product or services training.
  • The technical ability to create on-line training packages and necessary programs enabling a paper free environment for the transfer of information between customers and company; and
  • An experience change management facilitator
  • Excellent customer service experience at a face-to-face level,

Experience aside, you are a highly adaptable individual who loves a busy and challenging work environment. You are motivated to maintain a high standard of performance while meeting deadlines and taking responsibility for outcomes. You have excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise with both external customers and internal teams.
